FALLON CARRINGTON: The new buji binging material

In South America:

December & January = Renewing Tan Lines

December & January = Weddings

December & January = Glam Season

I mean, this side of the world sees the most glam parties happen all at once, almost as if they don’t want you to be able to attend them all, but we all get planners in our phones nowadays.

For the ladies out there like me, it’s the perfect opportunity to go all out [not that I wouldn’t if i felt like it any other day of the year, ehem *clears throat clarifying]

And an ode to shinny disco balls with this magnificent dress I picked up from Rent a Dress, the new life solving service in Punta del Este, went in, had fun at their closet, the hostess Lety is a sweetie pie that made me Chinese Rose Tea and shared her Italian Dream Summer Travel Stories with me, picked up what I would be needing for glam season, done.

Everything from dresses, blazers, shoes [I spotted Louboutins] and handbags, they got it.

#disclaimer no I’m not getting paid to tell you this, I just thought you might want a discount code because well, don’t we all?

I’m talking sequins, big bouncy curls, shoulder pads [anyone else obsessed with Dynasty’s aesthetic?]

All topped up with my latest re-discovery Christian Louboutin Rouge Nail Polish , we had an inseparable affair back in 2015 and now this baby is back in my life for good, talk about buji nails

I mean, I might be taking a big leap here

but helloooo…Fallon Carrington = 2017’s Blair Waldorf

I said it, and I’m not taking it back, I mean Queen B will always have a special place in our hearts, after all, she landed Chuck, but I’m a millennial and I NEED new buji binging material on a regular basis..

Fallon Carrington’s aesthetic was the inspo on this outfit, a little rebel rebel with over the knee suede boots [which I got for a bargain here], sequins and shoulder pads for those 80’s basics, my Céline bracelet which I barely ever take off [and to which I found you an adorable under U$S 10 version] my go to winged eye liner which happens to be FC’s go to as well [oh my goshhhhh we are practically sisters] and my go to hairstyle when I wanna look like I made an effort, honestly it couldn’t be easier, watch my tutorial here

HOLIDAY GIFTING: for the beauty gal in your life

It’s the last weekend before Christmas, and what better way to spend it than running a couple last minute errands. That’s what I thought, truth is, I shopped the below for myself (#shameless, so technically the tittle of this post should be “HAUL: a non related thread on long romantic walks through the drugstore’s make up alley” (ok, now I’m hesitating if that should be the tittle for this, right?! *stares into horizon while contemplating it, to change or not to change, that is the question*). I thought with the holiday season around the corner they’d make for nice ideas on what to gift the beauty lover in your circle, invisible friend gifts for her, stocking fillers et al.

We are all about that glow, ’bout that glow, no trouble

LAURA GELLER Highlighting Trio and Individual Highlighters & BENEFIT Dandelion Powder and Highlighting Stick

‘A woman needs ropes and ropes of Pearls’ Coco Chanel

So a little more on the affordable side than ropes and ropes of Pearls, but honestly just as beautiful, Physicians Formula  Powder Palette Mineral Glow Pearls, it’s my third time re-purchasing this, I love to dust it as highlight when it’s new and as the shimmer wears off (it does have an over layer of excess), as setting powder for an overall glowy and brozed complexion; plus the packaging is beautiful so it makes for a bougie looking present.

him: babe, send me nudes? 🙂

Maybelline Matte and Glossy Lipsticks

Age 18: Spends 2hs before leaving the house doing hair and make up

Age 25: Can I wear Dry Shampoo 4 days on a row?

Created by Ruth Crilly from AModelRecommends, this dry shampoo smells like a little piece of heaven, it claims to AND doesn’t leave a white cast in your hair, brunette babes you can thank me later

‘Is your muffin buttered?’

‘Ew, Jason why are you such a skeeze? You can go shave your back now’

Bath and Body Works cream and OM beauty serum, moisture moisture moisture, ho ho ho!

Let me guess, Rose Gold, right?

We all love Rosie Huntington Whiteley, her beauty collection is to die for, the packaging is bougieeee and her lipsticks creamy AF, her eyeshadow sticks super pigmented and long lasting. I included a nail polish I actually received recently as a gift because, despite wearing acrylic nails, I found the new concept from Sally Hansen to be quite cool, moroccan oil infused nail polish, I mean, if it’s good for body and hair…

All in one, easy peasy lemon squeezeeeeey

This Holiday palette by TanyaBurrCosmetics has become one of my absolute go to’s, the highlighters are gorgeous, so is the bronzer, and the eyeshadows super longwearing, also, can we appreciate the pre wrapped packaging, no wrapping you say? I’m in!

I hope this gifting guide will serve as a trigger for ideas on what to get ’em beauty obsessed ladies in your life; I think the packaging in all of these goodies is very pretty and girly and festive, *lustingggg.

Don’t forget the true gift of giving comes from the heart, and nothing will ever surpass a hug, a kiss and a smile.
